Fast Love
03:31
|
|||
I’m gonna love my baby, gonna love her night and day (2X)
I don’t bother with the others, gonna love her like no other everyday
I’m gonna marry my baby, gonna keep her all my life (2X)
It’s gonna be a great day, making her my wife
Gonna keep her all the time, take her into my life,
Gonna make a little child, hope he’ll look like my wife
Gonna buy her a house, and a brand new car
I’m gonna be a lucky guy, knowing that she’s my star
I’m gonna spend all my life … keeping her my wife
I’m gonna love my baby, gonna love her night and day (2X)
I don’t bother with the others, gonna love her like no other everyday
I’m gonna marry my baby, gonna keep her all my life (2X)
It’s gonna be a great day, making her my wife
Gonna keep her all the time, take her into my life,
Gonna make a little child, hope he’ll look like my wife
Gonna buy her a house, and a brand new car
I’m gonna be a lucky guy, knowing that she’s my star
I’m gonna spend all my life … keeping her my wife
I’m gonna love my baby, gonna love her night and day (2X)
I don’t bother with the others, gonna love her like no other everyday
I’m gonna love my baby, gonna love her night and day (3X)

Runaway Dog
02:16
|
|||
I’ve got a car that just won’t start
I’ve got a girl that breaks my heart
I’ve got a job that just won’t pay
And now my dog has run away
He’s a runaway dog
(He says he loves me)
He’s a runaway dog
(But he’s got to be free)
He’s a runaway dog
(What else can he be?)
He’s my run,run,run,run,runaway dog
I chase that dog all over town
But he’s a dog that won’t be found
But he’s not gonna get me down
Cos one day I’m gonna catch that hound
He goes left and he goes right
He’s a dog who’s outta sight
He always barks in the middle of the night
Cos barking is a real dog’s right
But every night he always comes home
Cos he doesn’t like to sleep alone
But in the morning there’s something wrong
Cos I’m alone and my dog has gone

T’as fait d’moi ta femme, tu n’peux plus t’en aller
Reviens donc dans not’ lit » (2X)

Talk to Me
05:33
|
|||
One more fight, just one more cry
One more night to wonder why
So please, oh please
Talk to me Mama, just Talk to me Mama
Never know the way I feel
If you won’t talk to me Mama
Love you Babe, can’t say how more
Need you Babe, you’ll never know
So please, oh please
One new day, I’ll wait your love
One new way, I’ll hope your love
So please, oh please
So please, oh please
No more fights, no more cries
No more nights to wonder why
Cause now, oh now you
Talk to me Baby, you talk to me Baby
Now you’ll know the way I feel
Because you talk to me Baby
You talk to me Baby

Sunny Girl
05:01
|
|||
I once met a girl; she looked so good to me
Bright and beautiful she had a very big smile
She had a great secret and she showed it to me
A thing she was keeping just for her man to see
This girl has a big tattoo all around her
A tattoo of the sun and when she showed it to me
The sun was shining all around
She was so nice,
She was so bright,
Now I’m so sad,
She was
My sunny girl (3X)
I loved to let my hands running through her hairs
She told me a lot of words speaking about love
The sun has stopped to shine that awful day she left
But since I looked the sun a black light burns my eyes
This girl has a big tattoo all around her
A tattoo of the sun and when she showed it to me
The sun was shining all around
She was so nice,
She was so bright,
Now I’m so sad,
She was
My sunny girl (3X)

Not Me
02:39
|
|||
Remember the first time that you saw me
Time stopped a ticking for you and me
We fell in love at the very first sight
Dreaming that our life will be so bright
Get married on a September morning
Hopping life will be full of nice evenings
We started our life without a fear
Love was so reassuring when it appear
Now there’s so many years
That I love you my dear
Life have been given us
What she received from us
Three children and a home
Would you like to be alone?
Not me!
For good times and bad times
You've stayed just right by my side
Be sure I'll do just the same for you
Darling can't you see how I love you!
Of course, we’ve made a lot of mistakes
Some fights had candled our birthday cakes
But finally each one disappears
Our love is the best to extinguish fires

Song for Jean-Marc
04:15
|
|||
I hate to see you lying there
As I sit in the safety of my armchair
Gonna put my arm around your shoulder
Cos I know you won’t get much older
Gonna drink a beer, pretend you're still here
Then fill the empty glass with my tears
But all I want you to know is
You were my friend until the end
In our little rock and roll band
We were Stray Rats until the end
Although nothing seems to make sense
Guitars will fall silent to the ground
When the Duke is no longer in town
The beat will go quickly out of time
As you finally close your eyes
Gonna take my bass, play my favourite note
Perhaps you would hear, I can always hope
So I want you to know
You were my friend until the end
In our little rock and roll band
We were Stray Rats until the end
Although nothing seems to make sense
And don't be disappointed when you leave
Cos your songs will always be

Wonder Why
02:39
|
|||
I wonder why I had to say goodbye
I wonder why I had to make you cry
I didn't want to leave, I tried hard to believe
But now I'm just left wondering why
I wonder why I didn't get to choose
I wonder why all of us will lose
Perhaps I'm needed, somewhere else
Nothing left to do but sing the blues
I wonder if I’ll see you again
I wonder if it will be the same
Don’t be too sad, it was so good what we had
Remember I’ll always be with you
This life is not what I had planned
I thought we would always go hand in hand
But when the evening shadows start to fall across my face
Just one last embrace as I leave this old place
I wonder when I'll play my last note
I wonder when I'll hang up my coat
Nothing else to do, we'll be one instead of two
But don't worry I'll never give up hope
(Whispering on the last chord: I love you)
